So I spent all weekend working on the poker table hoist. Only to get it all built, and discovered that I had a serious design flaw. I am cleraly not a master of statics and dynamics. But the whole thing wouldn't rise level, so anything on it, would fall off. This is clearly unacceptable.
Jeff came over and we debated a long time on what the right way to do it would be, and I'm still not sure. Only know that the way I have it isn't going to work.
Disappointing.
At the same time, I've been trying to bring up a new barebones pc I got to replace my 6 year old desktop. So far, I got xp up and running, but the machine reboots all the time. So I'm going to try again.
Not having a very productive weekend....
