sucker train blues
I'm often told I'm pessimistic. I prefer to believe I'm realistic. Plan for the worst case, and you'll never be disappointed, only happily surprised. I just had something that I needed quickly shipped here, but it required special shipping so I couldn't just fedex it. This shipper says delivery will be "5-10 working days" from pickup. It was picked up on Monday, so I chose to be optimistic and expect it yet this week. Buzz. Wrong.
That's the reward for being optimistic. Back to reality.
