I didn't get everything done I wanted to this weekend, but most of it.
Got most of the wall built, (I plan to finish it tonite, and I did get the hardest parts done),
changed the oil in the GS, (which proved to be much harder than it should have, since I had to buy two new tools)
but didn't get a chance to restain the deck.
I did play a lot of poker, and generally sucked, or had some incredibly bad luck. Probably a little of both.
The most frustrating hand is in the extended entry
The fam came home yesterday afternoon, and we went to the girls' Tball game, which was surely the hottest game on record. Very unpleasant. Then we ate out at Bennigans' for father's day, and I chose that becuase I hadn't been in one for along time, and it was much worse than I remembered. The last time I was in one was in march, when they ha several traditional Irish dishes for St. Patrick's day, but apparently their normal menu might as well be applebee's. Oridinary, unspectacular crap. It wasn't bad, just not impressive.
A good father's day weekend, all in all. Except for the whole losing $ in poker part.

(editor's note: I'm so ahead right here, I can't believe it.
I figured I'd get called by someone with two spades, but instead it's just someone with one!
And we saw Prashanth show he folded two spades! I love it!
Chad's looking for one of three total outs (someone show one of his on folding)
Terry needs two running spades

SUMMARY:
Unbelievable! I should have knocked Terry out, and more than doubled up.
Instead, I took the side pot from Chad, crippled him, but ended up with a
stack almost exactly the same as what I started the hand with.
And Chad came back from that because he's the luckiest POS in the entire town.
