a new hope

Well, my dad didn't start his chemo this week after all. They install a 'port' in you now so you don't have to get stabbed each time, so it's kindof a permanent iv. So that has to be installed via surgery, and they is still healing. Can't start chemo until it's fully healed, i guess.
Kindof frustrating, because we all want him to get going with it. Although admittedly, dad more so than anyone else.

Tomorrow nite, I'm going to be a judge in nebraska's first ever sanctioned MMA event. I'm pretty excited about it. Best seats in the house, and might possibly set me up to be a judge in future events. Worst case, a nite of free entertainment.

9 days to vegas!
