So david had a post about Henry Rollins, a guy I like very much.
Henry has led a very storied and exciting life, and I have actually read his semi-auto-biography book, Get in the Van.
It was an ok read, but it did detail some nasty things he did, specifically how he would get into fights. But apart from that, he was fairly clean cut, especially compared to others of fame by standards of the day or even now.
I need to perfect this look
I cannot find the list anymore, but VH1 used to run a series of shows, "100 Greatest ..."
They had lists of best songs of the 80s, 90s, rock ballads, etc.
They then started doing things like 'shocking moments', 'hottest hotties', and then came 'baddest asses'
That was the only one I watched, I expected names like rollins and danzig to top the list. Maybe some ozzy, too.
I think they both made the list in the 90s, which upset me so much, thinking "who exactly is going to be a bigger bad ass than them?"
Turns out, they thought axl rose, rio james dio, and Sebastian Bach were.
Yeah, that's right, Sebastian Bach. 104 pound Sebastian Bach.
They went into detail of the all the trouble he would get into, but none of it involved him kicking anybody's ass.
That said, who knows, right?
There are some crazy tough scrappy, scrawny guys in the UFC, and it turns out, Danzig's not as tough I imagined. He's big all right, but apparently not much of a fighter.
