Well, that didn't take long. I go check on it again 15 minutes later, and the screen can barely stay on. I think it's all but officially dead now. Good news!

Ahh yes, the fun of laptops dying without notice. I'm still annoyed with ours and as promised stayed away from HP when we bought our new one - the new unplanned one...
